Nick is an investor at Startmate and is also a Partner at Blackbird Ventures where he is an early-stage investor. Nick has extensive experience as a founder and product manager of a number of successful companies. He co-founded We Are Hunted, which was acquired by Twitter and co-founded Sessions, which was acquired by MyFitnessPal. He has also worked on Product Strategy & Operations at Under Armour. Nick has written for Wired, Fast Company and Harvard Business Review. 


Eloise Watson - Investment Manager, Rampersand VC

Eloise Watson
Having worked in Melbourne, Jakarta and Sydney, Eloise started her career as CFO for not-for-profit, Engage Education Foundation, where she currently sits as Chairperson. After working as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, Eloise switched from the corporate world to the more exciting world of Australian VC, where she is now able to meet people who are able to solve problems in a completely unique way and who are not afraid to question the status quo.


Gretta van Riel - Founder of Nichify, SkinnyMe Tea, The 5th, Drop Bottle

Gretta van Riel
Gretta  is a serial entrepreneur from Melbourne, Australia. At the age of 22, Gretta launched her first business, SkinnyMe Tea, which went on to become a market leader in the tea industry with over 300,000 customers. In early 2014, Gretta Founded Nichify - a collaboration tool for social influencers and brands. In late 2014, Gretta Co-Founded The Fifth Watches - a watch company that only sell their range of unisex minimal inspired timepieces on the 5th of each month for 5 days.


The panel will be moderated by Lachlan McKnight, CEO of LegalVision.
